Attention 799-20 Permit Holders! Due to unfavorable draw results for some of our scheduled clients, we have a limited number of discounted rifle elk hunts available for the upcoming season. If you're looking for a premier destination to hunt for a bull of a lifetime, let our expert guides help you harvest the bull of your dreams! We offer premier elk hunts targeting big bulls. Our growing elk herd features an extremely high ratio of mature bulls with most of our hunters being succesful on bulls exeeding 300" and frequently reaching the 340" - 370" class. We utilize various tactics depending on the conditions, including bugling, cow calling, spot and stalk, and ground blinds or tree stands over water and travel corridors. Ekalaka Lodge

Located near Ekalaka in the beautiful butte country of Southeast Montana, our camp features a five-bedroom lodge and a modern cabin. Our central location provides easy access to various leased ranches and public lands, allowing you to hunt across brush-filled creek bottoms, ag fields, timbered hills and ravines, and sagebrush flats before returning to a comfortable retreat at the end of the day's hunt. We maximize your time in the field by utilizing vehicle access to most hunting areas. All packages include meals, bedding, linens, and towels. You can expect hearty, family-style breakfasts and suppers served in our dining room, with lunches typically enjoyed in the field.

Cancellation

Deposits are nonrefundable unless license is not drawn, Death to immediate family member or medical reasons with documentation. The deposit can then be refunded or applied to the following year's hunt.

Wounding

Upon a guide’s determination that a client has hit/wounded/drawn blood from an animal, the client’s hunt for that species will be considered over until discussed with the outfitter. Every reasonable effort must be made by the guide and client to retrieve the wounded animal before any hunting can resume. Final determination of the wounding policy will be entirely at the discretion of the outfitter and is not negotiable.
