Wild boar driven hunt

Driven hunts take place in free range covering around 6000 hectares in total. These grounds are located on gently undulating terrain at an altitude of around 300–400 metres above sea level, making them naturally suited to driven hunts. The main game here is wild boar, although roe deer and fallow deer are also present. There are always enough beaters and dogs during the driven hunts, which makes hunting in this area extremely attractive and memorable for hunters. The hunt usually begins at 09:00 and concludes with a closing ceremony at around 16:00, when the hunters are presented with their daily bag in honour of the hunt’s success, accompanied by the sound of bells and horns. Based on results in recent years in these hunting areas with the same organisation, a group of 25 hunters can expect to bag 25–40 animals per day. Typically, 50–70% of the animals bagged over three days are wild boar.
