Great Experience

Had a great experience overall. There were two of us, and we managed to hunt a Chinese Water Deer. It was a first experience for my cousin, and Dave, the guide, was very patient with him, and guided him very well. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Chiltern Sporting Services. It was a pleasure.

Morning started well. Left too tramp around Thame with gun and ammo for two hrs before meeting up with guide to continue second half of the hunt which was poor!!

Did well first half, result. Then suddenly whisk off too a small wood where we saw two roe, but no muntjac very disappointing, which I might had in places resembled a building site.

The outfitter was honest and up front and very through. Explain everything really well. I enjoyed this hunt very much. There was a lot of game to pick from.

Excellent knowledge of hunting ground, very professional approach, great stalk and great guild. Met my expectations fully. I had asked for a good Cull Roe Buck but not a medal on this stalk and this is exactly what I was presented with. Tom re-arranged my stalk a day before due to coming down with Covid Thank you Tom and Dave

Good quality guiding and territory.

Dave was supportive and informative. I very much enjoyed having him as a guide as the stalk was laid back but professional. He knew what to do and where to go and I believe offered me the best chance of a harvest. Despite having a buck in my sights I could not take a clear shot, nonetheless the stalk saw plenty of game and I am satisfied with the opportunities presented to me from this outfitter.

Very enjoyable classic English deer stalking hunt. PH was professional and very pleasant.

Our PH Dave was professional and very easy to get along with. Over three days we hunted six different areas. Each was in some way unique, and together provided an excellent sample of hunts/stalks.

Wasn't looking for a top tier trophy, but was still unable to connect on an animal. The hunt was a lot of fun, and the memories are great, but having some work for the taxidermist would have made it even better.

First time stalking chinese water deer - but it won't be my last

I spent three excellent days in a variety of terrain settings stalking chinese water deer. I found Tom extremely knowledgeable and we saw plenty of deer and put quite a few in the larder. I was impressed with the professionalism and safe approach taken by Tom.

We had a wonderful time with Tom and Dave. We have booked two full days of hunting, we had several shooting opportunity with the guidance of the PH. We harvested two good roe bucks. Definitely coming back for another species of deer the UK has to offer with Tom.
