We saw multiple bucks during the week, some shot opportunity at shooter bucks but warmer then normal weather had most bucks moving after dark. The sign & trail cams told the story, def TROPHY bucks in the area. 100's of acres of corn & beans with small woodlots mean prime Midwest ground! No doubt I would suggest this outfitter to any one looking for a Midwest whitetail hunt!

Turkey Hunt

The one thing that stood out for me is that Braden my guide on this hunt reached out to me before I arrived. We had a nice chat and he was able to learn a bit about me and I about him prior to my arrival. I also brought my wife along for the ride and Mark and Braden were very accommodating to her. I am sure I will be hunting with these guys again in the future.

Unique Experience

Our accommodations were very good. The food was also top notch for breakfast and lunch.

Dinner was sub par and I feel like could have been catered to the hunter a little better. I can agree with an outfitters' expertise, but as a paying customer, I would like to have my opinion/thoughts heard and respected.

North Maine woods is a beautiful place. It was a nice trip. There was a few obstacles but otherwise we had a good time. Food, guides, and lodging was all good. Future customers beware, there is a $15 per person per day gate fee that you need to account for. It is not on the website and they only tell you this at the group meeting before your hunt begins so go ahead and bring cash.

- All the guides were nice, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted you to harvest a black bear. - Food was good. I do wish they served a little more than just sandwich meat and brownies for dinner though. - Accommodations: Depending on where you stayed, it can be nice or bad. (Some camp houses have 10 hunters staying there with one shower and one toilet).

- $15 per day per person gate fee that you are not told about until you arrive. - Waiting to get picked up after hunting. Sometimes could be waiting 2+ hours. (Need more guides) - Only sandwich meat and brownies to eat after hunting. I wish we had something for filling.

Although I didn't kill a bear all the guides were great and very helpful, they wanted you to succeed and the food was great.

Beautiful properties, but saw 0 bucks.

Outfitter and guide were nice guys.

Saw a total of 6 does while on my 3 day hunt. Sat a set for a full day that looked like something a first time hunter would have slapped together. Got the impression the better properties were being saved for repeat clients. Literally half of the guys hunting in the group left early, including myself, due to poor results.

Great Hunting and Big Bucks

This was my first hunt and I thought going with an outfitter would be a great start. I was right! They were extremely helpful in getting me set up and ready to go. They were attentive and communicative. When I shared that I hadn't seen any deer at the stand I was in on the first day, they promptly got me to another stand where I saw deer and took down my first buck within 3 hours of being at the new location. My buck scored 130", they taught me how to field dress the deer and quartered it for me the next morning. I went with the expectation that I may not get buck, it's mother nature and that's all part of hunting, but they went out of there way to give me the best opportunity. Their efforts paid off and were greatly appreciated.

Everything about this hunt was great! Great group of people to hunt with! Can’t wait for the next one! Man what a heart pumping adrenaline rush!! No words for how exciting this hunt was!!

Great Outfitter!

It was my first semi guided hunting trip I’ve been on and killed a 130 inch 10 point! It was my biggest deer to date and the hunt of a life time!! 10/10 recommend.
