About this hunt

During the spring hunts (April to mid-May), Kodiak Brown Bears are emerging from hibernation and their hides are in prime condition. Weather can be unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. While bears can be spotted anywhere, it is not uncommon to spot and stalk a Kodiak Brown Bear above the snow level, which can start at 1,000 feet.
