- John is a medically retired submarine veteran from Ohio who resides in Rhode Island. Throughout his life, John has been actively involved in the hunting scene, developing a passion for hunting from a young age. He grew up in an environment where hunting was a significant part of his life, often accompanying his father on hunting expeditions and assisting him in teaching hunter safety classes as a young adult.
- Over the years, John's love for hunting has evolved into a desire to help others experience the joys of the outdoors and find success in hunting. He derives immense satisfaction from assisting and mentoring individuals in their journey towards becoming skilled hunters. John understands the importance of imparting knowledge and teaching essential skills to newcomers, as he experienced the same guidance and mentorship during his early hunting days.
- With his background in teaching hunter safety classes and extensive hunting experience, John possesses knowledge about techniques, deer behavior, and firearm safety. He is dedicated to providing education, guidance, and support to individuals looking to explore the world of hunting and develop their skills.
About this hunt
Full morning of sea duck hunting all the species (please contact us for more information on species and best dates for certain species) that migrate though Connecticut and Long Island sound. This is a boat based trip on a vessel with a small head (bathroom) and room for up to six hunters. There are many species of sea ducks and non sea ducks that fly these routes that can be part of the harvest! If you are a seasoned duck hunter looking to enjoy the ease of access a boat provides or a new duck hunter we will get you set up in a locations to purse birds during this great season on the coast. The views in the sound are unmatched and during the duck season you can have the waterways all to yourself frequently.
