NM Aoudad Unit 29/30 (Draw Tag Req)

Note that this hunt requires you to draw a tag and you must contact us to apply by March 2025. Our Barbary Sheep hunts are conducted in Southeastern NM in Units 29/30 and as well a the Mc Gregor range hunt in 28. Known also as poor mans sheep hunt don't be fooled as they are just as tough to hunt as any other sheep out there. Be prepared for steep rocky climbs, long shots, and tons of glassing. But don't get discouraged as these animals make great trophies and are addicting to hunt. For public land the average size is going to be 22-27 inches but there is always a chance at that 28+ incher! There are several draw hunt dates, starting Dec 4-Feb 20th. You get 3 choices in the draw so we will help choose the best dates that work for you. These hunts are semi outfitted, you are just required to bring the food during the hunt for you and your guide. Hunts are 5 days 1x1, note we can do a 2x1 if you want to apply with a buddy.
