About this hunt
If the Wild boar is the King of the woods then the Roe deer is the Prince of the Maremman forests. Present in high numbers the roe deer is a fascinating animal, the smallest of the deers present on the italian territory, to give you an idea, this deer reaches 32 kg at its most in a very nutrient rich environment, normally adult specimens in Maremma are between 20kg and 28kg. it has a very good eyesight and its acute senses make this one a very difficult quarry to pursue. Its is a very territorial animal, and during the reproductive season it's spectacular to watch how dominant males act and guard their territories fighting younger males for dominance.
The hunting season of the Roe Deer is dictated by the Government and it follows strict rules regarding gender and age class in respect of reproductive cycles , that is why we take great care in guiding you during your hunting experience and helping you selecting the correct animal to harvest.
