More about us
Our company was established in 2006 and operates in 1 territory.
- I have lived and breathed the outdoors and its pursuits for as long as I can remember, especially Hunting, Fishing and most shooting sports.
- As a young fella the untamed wilderness of New Zealand was my playground, I couldn’t get enough. I grew up hunting Red Deer and Possum for pocket money and eventually made it a business while it was possible.

About this hunt
Wilderness West Coast is home to some of the best Chamois Trophies New Zealand has to offer.
We specialize in free range Chamois hunting with our long standing local knowledge, we know the very best locations to hunt for your Trophy Alpine Chamois.
The Alpine Chamois is a challenging animal to hunt, they are super alert and extremely agile.
We can take you to areas where Chamois are within only 1-2 hours walk from camp so if you have a reasonable level of fitness we can help you find that trophy of a lifetime.
You can hunt these animals year round, though hunting is best February - July. Chamois rut is May - July.
We use a helicopter to access the remote campsites within the Southern Alps, the flight is truly spectacular.
Chamois hunts can be combined with Himalayan Tahr Hunts in our wilderness areas.
