About this hunt

If you're an archery hunter, this will also be the time when you and your guide will set up your portable tree stand. We like to involve the hunter in this as we want you to be as comfortable as possible. Most of our clients like to be 15-20 yards away from the bait for archery. For rifle, our stands are on average 60 yards away. While some hunters like to use a harness, most of our stands are only 12-15 ft. in height. Sometimes we will use a higher set up for archery, but we leave this up to the individual hunter.

How to get there

Navigation guidelines

Location Directions for those travelling up I-29 from North Dakota: You'll cross into Canada at Pembina, ND on I-29. Continue on highway 75 up to Winnipeg, about 60 miles. Next, take Highway 100 West around Winnipeg for about 20 miles until you reach the turn off to highway 6. Turn here onto 6 and travel north. You'll cross a large bridge after about 150 miles over the Fairford River. Continue about 8 miles on Hwy 6 and you'll see a green sign which says "Davis Point Road". Turn left (west) here and continue on Davis Point Road for 6 miles until you reach a stop sign. Turn left (south) at the stop sign and take the 2nd driveway on the right (west) after about 1 mile. This is the driveway to the lodge, which is about 1 mile long. We are located directly on the shore of Lake Manitoba.
