- Corbett Creek Outfitters is a newly established outfitting company and is a family owned and operated business run by Richard Ellens and his wife Stefanie Ellens. As a Christian family with two young boys, we love and respect the outdoors. We aim to be stewards of the land, through sustainable and ethical harvests.
- Experience of Outfitter and knowledge of the area:
- • I grew up and still currently live in the hunting territory on a family farm which is nestled into the boreal forest and bordered by the Athabasca River to the east.
- • 17 years of trapping and hunting experience in the territory
- • 10 years of guiding experience in or around the territory.
- • 5 years owning a registered trapline in the hunting territory.

About this hunt
Corbett Creek Outfitters is proud to announce that we are now running wolf hunts. Due to high interest from hunters we ran baits this past winter to establish baits locations before booking clients. With very little effort baits were hit hard and fast and lots of day time pictures. Elevated and insulated box blinds with buddy heaters will be set up at all bait locations. We are located in the Fort Assiniboine, Whitecourt area of Alberta. Our lodge is fully furnished with a queen bed in a private room and home cooked meals are provided. Your comfort and success is a high priority and we insure you wont go away hungry and will have a fun hunt. We are locate in a fringe zone between agriculture land and boreal forest to the north making it ideal location for high numbers of predator and prey. Hunters will be picked up and dropped of at the airports and will be shuttled to and from stand locations. We hope to only run two hunters per week giving us lots of options to pick the most active bait to hunt while you are here. We recommend to sit sun up to sun down weather permitting. Corbet Creek Cottage and Cabins
You'll be staying at a quaint lodge, that is nestled into a treed yard next to an open field, making it not only a peaceful stay but also provides a good opportunity to see lots of wildlife right from the lodge. The lodge sleeps up to 6 clients comfortably in three different rooms. The house has a full kitchen where meals will be served and snacks and beverages will be available. The lounge room has comfy couches and chairs around a gas fire place where one can warm up, relax and tell the stories of the day. The lodge has two full washrooms. Guides will stay in the cabins on the same yard site allowing for the continued luxury of a spacious lodge.
