I personally have guided for years, honesty about the hunt you will experience is key. I do my best to explain every detail of the hunt and what to expect before you arrive. There are an abundance of black bears in southern Oregon which typically forage in clear cuts and meadows. The bears are most active early in the morning and in the evenings as it gets cooler in the day.
The most successful methods of hunting Bears is to strategically glass from vantage points.
Fall tags are over the counter. You can get up to 2 tags per person.
- Fall Black Bear Season: August 1 - December 31
Spring bear tags are draw but with high draw odds for non residents.
- Spring Black Bear Season: April 1 - May 31
We will help you apply for the spring bear hunt. Must apply by February 10th.
This hunt DOES NOT include housing and Meals. We can supply housing and food for an additional $850.00 per person.
