There are 5 species of snow sheep available for legal hunting on the territory of Russian Federation. Kamchatka snow sheep is considered to be one of the most popular among them since it's rather affordable in comparison with the other ones.
Snow sheep hunt is claimed as one of the most difficult hunts in the world. Snow sheep are very careful animals, can catch a move from far distance, inhabit remote areas. So if you decided to go for snow sheep hunting that will be an adventure of lifetime for sure. Physical conditions are highly important for this hunt since long time climbing is necessary on this hunt.

Kamchatka snow sheep hunting area in Palana district is a remote place located in the north of Kamchatka peninsula. Since it's a rather hard-to-reach area the population of snow sheep is rather stable there and one is able to find a good trophy rams there.

Tented camp
Base camp is arranged in big tents with wood-stoves. We normally arrange accommodation for clients in two-men tents. But single tent accommodation is available as well depending on clients' predilections. Hunting guides are accommodated separately. Dining room is arranged in a separate tent as well. Guests can take outdoor shower in the base camp. On the hunt guests are accommodated in smaller tents. Hunting camp is provided with electricity by generator.

How to get there
Navigation guidelines
There is one reliable way to reach Kamchatka and Palana hunting area. International flight to Moscow, then domestic flight to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Upon arrival guests have time to make a sightseeing tour around Petropavlovsk and stay overnight at hotel. Next morning there will be domestic flight from Petropavlovsk to Palana, flight will take 1,5 hour. Upon arrival to Palana guests will be offered to stay overnight at local hotel. Snow sheep area is located in about 100 miles from Palana, there is only way to reach it - by crawler tractor, so it's better start early in the morning. Upon arrival to the base camp guests will be met by gentle staff.
