The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Our personal assistants are the fastest loaders around and are always up for a good laugh. The staff strives to make every dove hunt a trip of a lifetime which is the reason why many hunters come back year after year. Food and wine at the lodge are first class. We offer famous Argentinean steaks, serving only the finest Argentinean wines.
We are the only Orvis endorsed lodge in Cordoba and a Beretta Trident affiliated lodge. We received these two prestigious awards because we combine extreme, high-volume doves and first class accommodation/service at such a great price.

About this hunt

Combine incredible dove shooting with the most exciting Patagonia fly fishing you will ever experience! Day 1: Midday arrival at Cordoba Airport. Meet-and-greet by a member of our staff who will drive you to Sierra Brava lodge (1hr 15min). Afternoon dove shoot after lunch. Night at the lodge. Day 2: Full day dove shoot. Enjoy an exquisite Argentinean asado in the field. Night at the lodge. Day 3: Full day dove shoot. A Gourmet lunch will be served at the lodge. Night at the lodge. Day 4: Breakfast and transfer to Cordoba Airport for your flight to San Martin de Los Andes. Day 4: Arrival at San Martin de Los Andes airport. Meet-and-greet by a member of our staff who will drive you to the lodge in the town of Alumine (1hr 30min). Wine tasting by the river surrounded by breathtaking views. Welcome dinner and evening review of the fishing program. Days at Bravo Sur will be spent fishing on one of the great rivers in the Alumine region and some of the greatest lakes in Patagonia. Each day’s itinerary will be carefully described the previous evening by your fishing guide so that you will be familiar with the fishing spots and the appropriate gear to bring. Day 5: Breakfast is served at around 8am. After that, we will drive 15 minutes and float 12 miles through the Abra ancha section of the upper Alumine River. This section of the river is very beautiful with riffles and has lots of pockets to catch browns and rainbows. A Gourmet Lunch is served on the river shores. Day 6: After breakfast, we prepare our gear to fish 14 miles through the Avispero /Pichi Leufu section of the upper Alumine river. Only a few minutes-drive will get us there and we will be floating this amazing river before you know it. Day 7: Early breakfast. Drive to Quillen Lake and be amazed by the magnificent Lanin Volcano. We will spend a full day fishing the beautiful Quillen. Farewell dinner. Day 8: Drive to San Martin de Los Andes for departure.

Sierra Brava Lodge

The 10-bedroom lodge was built in 1874 as a hitching post and boarding house for South American Pony Express riders. The lodge has undergone some incredible restorations and constant renovations. We offer a beautiful balance between authentic old-world charm and modern luxury living.

The province of Córdoba is located in Central Argentina. Our lodge rests 75 miles (120 km) North of the Córdoba City International Airport. Driving time from the airport is about 1:15 hours. There are multiple flight options to get to Córdoba. An easy access point with direct flights from Miami (USA), Santiago (Chile), Buenos Aires, Lima (Peru) and Panama City (Panama). The acceptable methods of payment after arrival at the lodge for shells, gun rental, hunting license, and pro shop items are cash, personal checks. A 5% fee will be charged on personal checks.
As we have a no-refund policy, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your vacation investment. Please inquire for further details.
