About this hunt
Sierra Nevada Ibex or Southeastern Spanish Ibex (Capra pyrenaica Hispánica) is one of three categories established for record-keeping purposes by splitting Mediterranean ibex (subspecies Hispánica) into geographical groups based on horn size and shape. Smaller and lighter in color than the Beceite and Gredos types, but larger and darker than the Ronda type. Horn size and shape vary considerably from place to place, with those from the Sierra Nevada generally the largest. Horns tend to be the most distinctive, forming a circle with the tips growing toward the neck like those of a mouflon. The keel is smooth, making the horns almost round in cross-section.

- Cancellation Policy & Legal: Cancellation of a Trip if done 8 months prior to the commencement date will allow the client a full refund of all payments made. However, if a cancellation is made within 8 months of the Trip all payments may be transferred to the following year as a deposit on another future hunt based on the following years prices. If a cancellation is done within 3 months of the Trip date all deposits will be lost completely.

Great quality hunt.
The outfitter was focused more on hunting than high quality wine and dining. The hunting was great early in the morning and late in the evening as expected in summer time. I would recommend going in the fall if you want to see more animals, but if you want to hunt something in the early summer, this is a great option.

Great game, great hospitality, just excellent all the way around
Luis has great knowledge of the concessions he has and put me on ibex straight away. The hotels were excellent and food exceptional. I would recommend this outfitter for any hunt.

Absolutely blown away!
This was my first time using BookYourHunt so I was a little nervous about what I was getting into. However, after hunting with Luis and the Spanish Ibex crew… I look forward to joining them again for the rest of my slam and more. Thanks again for everything.
