Outfitter was easy to deal with and zero issues. Shot my elephant on the third day. Great PH and crew. Being able to watch and be a part of tracking elephants was an amazing experience. The African experience I wanted truly wild and wonderful.

Didn’t see a lot of plains game but I was there for elephant and my other trips to Africa were SA so probably not a fair comparison. Also if transferring through Ethiopia make sure you have a couple hrs. They check your guns and paperwork. They had me miss my flight and only one flight a day to Vic falls. Chris was very accommodating for a problem he had nothing to do with.

Victoria Falls. An unforgettable place. But it was already an independent part of the trip.

The most expensive and the worst of my hunts in Africa. There was no organization, except for the really great desire of the PH to get at least something. I have not even seen any of the animals from the agreed list. No one has any idea about the declared hunting with a bow. After a week of hunting, I got a female buffalo, and that was only because I needed bait. The living conditions are not bad if they cost 2 times cheaper. And to complete the picture, I was asked to search for my random "trophy" myself by phone, which are forwarded to the next "taxidermist." Now I understand why the first thing the outfitter did upon arrival was to hastily receive the full payment in advance.

Outfitter Chris and PH Joseph were both professional and friendly. Communication with Chris was always helpful and direct. We got to get our buffalo right on the first day after 4 hours.

Rental rifle quality could be improved, best is to take your own. But in the end it worked!
