Personally guiding hunters and overseeing camp to ensure that everything goes as good as it possibly can. All the guides in our camp are men I know very well. Each one of them is very professional and contributes a major role in the success of our hunts.

About this hunt
5 day private land black bear hunts with hounds in Utah. We have a couple openings for our spring black bear hunts. These hunts are conducted on private land that totals nearly 30k acres as well as all the surrounding public land. This hunt is fully furnished with meals and lodging included. Accommodations will be based at the new lodge that was recently built in 2023. You will have a private bedroom and bathroom for your stay. This hunt is conducted with hounds, we start early in the morning and cut roads for fresh bear tracks. We then turn the hounds loose to begin the chase. We ask clients to be patient as we search for mature boars. We do our best to manage the ranch for a healthy population and try to avoid harvesting females when possible. We currently have 2 weeks available, you can come as an individual or as a group of 2-3. In a group situation, each person will have their own guide, as the group tags out the guides team up to get everyone tagged out. Included are pictures of the accommodations as well as pictures of the bears harvested over the last few years. Normal price $6750 - Discounted to $5750 There are also times when we will find mountain lion tracks on this hunt. If the opportunity arises and you wish to pursue a cat you are welcome to do so. Lodging is nicely furnished wall tent camps located in the heart of prime elk country. Accessed by 4x4 vehicles. Home cooked meals are provided before and after each day of hunting along with nice sack lunches for the field.

Great family outfit
All of the guides are friendly always very informative keep you updated on what the plan is for the day are able to change very quickly when weather can help or hurt the location you plan on hunting. They have the equipment that others do not when no one could get to hunting ground they could because of the investments JT and his family have made to make sure each hunter has the best possible outcome plenty of hunting area for all types of hunting. Great people I would trust them with another hunt unquestioned. I hope to return on another adventure soon!!

Excellent hunting experience

Even though we didn’t tag out, JT runs a very good outfit with excellent guides and dogs. Conditions just weren’t in our favor.
