About this hunt
We are an American-owned outfitting company. Based in the stunning Sonora region of Mexico, we specialize in guided desert bighorn sheep hunts. We strive to provide a full-service experience that includes comfortable accommodations, top-of-the-line equipment, and expert guidance to ensure that every client has the best possible chance of harvesting a trophy animal. A desert bighorn sheep hunt is, in our opinion, one of the funnest sheep hunts you can go on. Desert bighorn sheep hunting is a unique experience that is less strenuous than hunting the other three North American sheep, but it still requires a good level of physical fitness. We recommend that hunters are capable of taking longer shots. Our experienced guides will take you to the areas where we know there are mature rams and help you to spot them using high-quality optics. Once a suitable ram has been identified, we will plan a stalk to get into range for a shot. To ensure a seamless travel experience for your desert bighorn sheep hunt in Sonora Mexico, you will need to book your flights to Hermosillo, Mexico as your final destination. Please note that Mexico has strict regulations when it comes to firearms, so hunters bringing their rifles will need to fly direct from Phoenix to Hermosillo with no connections anywhere in Mexico. Upon your arrival in Hermosillo, our team will handle all gun permits prior to your arrival and notify Mexico customs of your necessary permits. You will then need to check your rifle at the airport and clear security. A member of our team will be waiting for you at the airport to assist with any questions and transport you to our hunting area. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may depart for camp immediately or commence first thing the following morning. We are committed to ensuring a hassle-free travel experience for all of our clients. We offer estate sheep hunts. The hunt is listed as 5 days. You do have the option to customize hunt length.

Wounding
- When an animal is wounded, we will make every possible attempt to recover that animal. If that animal is not recovered it is up to the outfitter and guide to determine whether or not that animal is fatally wounded. If the outcome is that it is likely a fatal wounding or an ill-advised shot we will spend as much time as it takes to try and recover that animal. The hunter is welcome to stay and try and recover the animal. If the outcome is determined fatal and we are unable to recover the animal. The hunt for that species is over. The hunter will not be allowed to pursue another animal on that license.
