Best trip ever.

10.0 of 10

All the guys at FF were fantastic. I landed on a Monday in between groups and arrived a few hours before dark. Gerald was already eager to hit the blind so I pieced together my compound bow and headed out. Not even 30 minutes into the blind we have a bunch of does and spikes come in, and the first 10 point I saw I drew back, ranged, and knew it was destined to be mine. Slocked him broadside but he stepped away as my arrow was coming. He went about 40 into the treeline, didn't see or hear him come down. Gerlad said let's go eat dinner and wait, so we did. He's an incredible cook. Chicken fried steak was the best I'd ever had. These guys really went full out when recovering my deer utilizing two young tracking dogs they had on site, and they found him right behind the treeline. They asked me what I wanted next as I had plenty of time left and I said an axis doe sounded tasty, so the next morning Tim got up with me at 5:30 and at first light I got my doe with a heart shot. Tim is a little rough around the edges but is super knowledgable, he gets the job done, will school you all day about hunting, and made my trip fun as hell. Thank you so much guys from the bottom of my heart. I can't wait to visit again.

Not a thing to dislike. They got me 2 big game animals. The whole ranch is gorgeous. Could glass all day. Big bodied animals everywhere. I've never seen so many in my life. Thanks again.

A Must Have Hunting Experience All Novice Hunters Should Consider

10.0 of 10

After 2 years of unsuccessful whitetail hunting on Long Island, I decided to invest in a guided hunt around the same time I was going to be in Texas. The place has turned me into a spoiled hunter who needs to remember that not all his hunts can be as worthwhile as this one. Anthony and Gerald do a fantastic job making sure that you have the highest chance possible for success. All of the stress and anxiety that a new hunter may feel when planning a hunt was relieved and the only thing I had to focus on was making my shots count. Hanging out with Gerald for a weekend was an awesome experience. During the hunt, Gerald was comfortable with answering questions, imparting valuable knowledge, and lead me to harvest 2 Axis doe in 3 days. During the downtime, we swapped stories, had some fun discussions, and he prepared me some of the best meals I've ever eaten. All in all, this is a fantastic operation. Anthony and Gerald have quality land, quality game, and care about their guests succeeding and having a rewarding experience.

They didn't offer me a job.
