2026 Baited Wolf Hunts

Alberta Wild is pleased to offer our 2025 Wolf/Coyote hunting experience. During the winter months, we provide professionally guided wolf hunts in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, near Grande Prairie Alberta. Hunting wolves is challenging as they are intelligent and elusive predators that prefer the shadows of the timber. In winter, wolves form packs and often stake out game throughout their range, roaming in search of easy food sources. Hunting these elusive wolves involves setting out bait and hunkering down for the long sit. Hunting from heated ground blinds over these bait sites, hunters can expect a shooting range between 150 to 300 yards. This method has proven successful, with many Alberta record wolves harvested. We currently operate 6 active bait sites and can easily move hunters between these sites depending on the wolf movement.
