Our company was established in 2024 and operates in 1 territory.
- Walker School of the Wild offers guided hunts as well as hunting and fishing instruction in the Eastern Sierra.
- We are more than an outfitter. As an outdoor school, we will not only help you come home with a trophy bear but teach you the finer techniques to tracking, spot and stalk, and game processing.
- I have over 15 years of bear hunting experience and spend countless hours tracking and stalking bear in these mountains.

Experience the thrill and excitement of a real American black bear hunt - 100% fair chase spot and stalk hunt. We offer 4 days of guided spot and stalk or ambush hunting black bear hunting in the Eastern Sierra near Tahoe. Our guides have decades of experience tracking and hunting black bear in these mountains. We know where they are and how to set you up for success. During rifle season, we largely hunt spot an stalk. Our archery hunts are most often ambush style. Either way, we promise to work hard to put you on the bear of your dreams. We have many large bears over 400lbs. 80% of our bears are color phase. High success rates.
