- Come hunt the beautiful Missouri Ozarks and chase our big whitetail deer and wild eastern turkeys. We have several cabins available and over 700 acres of hunting land that joins large tracts of wild timberland where the monsters can grow old and narly. Many hunters have taken the best deer or turkey of their lives with us. We have several tracts of hunting land most is just a short 15 minute drive from our lodge and main cabins. We have taken several bucks over 150 inches over the years including a 17 point giant and a 15 pointer that was nearly 180 inches. These are wild, low fence deer. We have several box blinds and over 30 two man ladder stands to hunt from. This is a stand hunt and nearly all of our stand locations have taken good bucks except for several we move or set up in new places each year. We have lot's of food plots scattered around and some stands are back in crossing areas back in the woods. Lot's of brush and shooting lanes here so bring enough gun so they don't go far.

- Trophy Quest Outdoor Adventures has been in operation since 1998. It is a small family run hunting operation with some excellent Deer and Turkey hunting located in the Southern Missouri Ozarks region on nearly 700 acres of private land surrounded by vast amounts of heavily wooded timberlands. It's operations are located in Texas, and Shannon Counties. The Trophy Quest lodge and main hunting property is located in the famous Texas County region that is well known for giant Eastern Turkey and excellent Whitetail hunting. Texas County is legendary for it's deer and turkey hunting and is usually in the top 3 counties in Missouri for deer and turkey kills and many times has been number one! It's unique blend of expansive timberland and small farms provides excellent habitat for game. Our Wildlife are free ranging and are truly wild and fair chase for an challenging outdoor adventure.
- The lodge and cabins have over 100 mounts adorning the walls and the rustic cabins were built by Owner Bob Parker and his wife Karen, with much of it sawn from timber from his property on his Wood Mizer sawmill. Years of hunting in the U.S., Canada, and several Safari's in Africa are evident around the Lodge with numerous game mounts adorning the walls. Bob has hunted Whitetail deer and turkey for over 47 years and has extensive experience in the field to help you find that trophy of a lifetime!

- This property is just 15 minutes from my Main Hunting Lodge. I will be glad to help with anything you need. We also have nice bass fishing here in our lakes and you are welcome to fish here if you like. Bring coolers for your meat and trophies. Big Game
Missouri’s big game species include White-tailed deer, Wild turkey, and limited hunts for Black bear and Elk. There is no general “hunting license” that covers big game – instead, hunters purchase permits for each species and season.
Deer hunting permits are available over the counter for most seasons and areas. Residents and non-residents may buy Archery Deer permits and Firearms Deer permits (which are divided into “Any-Deer” and “Antlerless Deer” hunting permits). If targeting Antlerless deer, non-residents also need to buy one of the “Any-Deer” or “Managed deer” licenses.
Missouri’s archery deer permit allows taking two deer (only one antlered), while firearms deer permits generally allow one deer.
Some areas are restricting Deer harvest and are accessible only by drawing.
Turkey permits are available over-the-counter for both spring and fall seasons.
Black bear hunting in Missouri is newly established and is managed by a lottery draw available only for residents. Likewise, Elk hunting in Missouri is extremely limited and for residents only – a handful of elk permits are given out via lottery each year.
Small Game
Missouri requires a Small Game Hunting Permit for hunting small game (upland birds, small mammals, etc.) which can be purchased over-the-counter.
In addition, Missouri requires a Migratory Bird Hunting Permit for hunting migratory birds like Doves, Waterfowl, Snipe, and Woodcock and a Federal Duck Stamp for waterfowl hunters.
Furbearers (such as bobcat, fox, coyote) may be hunted with a Small Game permit, but to trap furbearers or sell pelts a separate Trapping Permit is required.

Minimum Hunter Age
Missouri’s minimum hunting age is 11 (hunters under 11 cannot be certified in hunter education). Youth ages 6 through 15 may purchase youth permits (at reduced prices) for deer and turkey but those aged 6–11 must hunt in the immediate presence of a licensed adult mentor. Youth hunters ages 12–15 must either be accompanied by a licensed adult or have completed hunter education to hunt alone.
