The Roosevelt Sable, found in Mozambique, is a subspecies of the Sable Antelope characterised by its impressive size and the males' dark, almost black coats with sweeping, curved horns. This subspecies, one of five Sable subspecies, is known for its distinctive, majestic appearance.
The best place to hunt Roosevelt Sable in Mozambique is in the Niassa region, as well as the Zambezi catchment areas and Tete province. These areas provide ideal habitats and are renowned for their robust Sable populations and well-managed hunting practices.
