Hunting in Central African Republic

The savannah parts of the Central African Republic are perfectly suited for the classic African hunting methods such as spot-and-stalk. For species like buffalo, the PH and the hunter sometimes cruise the back roads until they see tracks of a bull or herd that has recently crossed the road, and begin tracking. In the rainforest zone more non-orthodox methods may be applied, such as hunting with native trackers and the packs of their dogs, as well as making controlled burns, waiting until fresh grass grows over, and waiting on high seats for the animals that love to feed on it.
