African Wild Cat hunting in Ethiopia

African Wild Cats are a similar size to the average domestic cat with a silver, grey-brown coat. Their main food source is rodents, lizards, snakes and birds. They will even kill prey species up to the size of a rabbit. These Wild Cats are highly adaptable and found in habitats ranging from semi-arid grasslands to mountainous forests. African Wild Cats can be hunted throughout Ethiopia. They are shy and rarely encountered making them a trophy of opportunity. African Wild Cats are difficult animals to target as a hunter. Hunting this species requires some luck. They are mostly nocturnal and rest up during the day where they may be found hiding in a tree. Like all cats, they hiss and hum when threatened. They are preyed upon by larger predators and raptors. African Wild Cats are classified as a species of least concern by the IUCN. A prearranged hunting license must be purchased before you start your hunt.
