We are your premier outfitter in southeastern Wyoming.
I grew up hunting and fishing in the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range mountains around Encampment Wyoming with my family and friends. I have a passion for archery, especially archery hunting elk. I am as well a certified archery technician and have been a member of the ATA (Archery Trade Association) since 2009. This can be a benefit to the guest if you are interested in doing an archery hunt!
I love to spend much of my free time in the field learning more about the areas I hunt and guide in. I will always go the extra mile to make sure you will go away with an experience that you cannot forget!

We have a high population of elk in our areas and a branch antlered bull about 280-320 can be expected. These hunts are available for archery and rifle. This hunt will consist of lots of calling during the rut for archery season and glassing and some calling for the rifle season. These elk hunts can be very physically demanding. The terrain can be very steep mountainous at most times of the hunt. The weather can be pleasant on the early archery hunts to very cold in the later October hunts with snow, rain and wind. The rifle hunts consist of the same as the archery hunts except the weather could be much colder and more snow. We can accommodate what ever type of hunt you want just let us know what you are looking for and hopefully we can help. The limited draw units are trophy management units. The best time to hunt this is during archery season, but don't count out the rifle season. There are some pretty nice bulls in this area. License application date: January 1st- January 31st Bow- Sept. 1st-30th Rifle- Oct. 1st-31st - depends on area

The terrain will vary depending on the type of hunt you are wanting to experience. The hunts can be in high alpine areas at or above 10,500 feet or as low as 6,500 feet for antelope hunts.

Camp

All of our hunts are wall tent camps. We like to provide the full outdoor western experience. The camps are fully furnished w/ food, cots and wood stoves for heat etc. All the hunter needs to bring is their weapon, sleeping bag, personal hygiene products and whatever else they believe they need for the next few days. Hunts will be conducted by 4X4, ATV, on foot and on horseback. This all depends on the area we will be hunting. We will not hunt from a vehicle or an ATV. These are used for travel only! We keep our camps and meals very versatile, we will accommodate to whatever the guest needs. If you have a particular dietary need that is required or something that you would like to request, just let us know and we will accommodate!
