- Flathead Wilderness Adventures is a family owned operation dedicated to ensuring you have an enjoyable hunting experience. We're located in the Southeast corner of British Columbia just North of the Montana border and one hour West of the British Columbia/Alberta border in the heart of the Rocky mountains. The Kootenay region is renowned for its high concentration and diversity of big game species such as Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Shiras Moose, Mule/Whitetail deer, Grizzly, Black Bear, Cougar, Lynx, Bobcat, Wolf and Turkey.
- We operate in the remote Wigwam drainage where our base camp is located. There are also several spike camps throughout the area anywhere from a 1 1/2 hour ride to a 5 hour ride. all packages include accommodations, meals, trophy prep, transportation during the hunt and a professional licensed guide.
About this hunt
This rifle Rut hunt takes place in the game rich Kootenay region of British Columbia. On this hunt 6 point or better bulls must be harvested. Hunting is done with the use of Horses, ATV, and on foot. Hunting is done out of our main lodge as well as many spike camps throughout the area.
