All wild birds! These mixed bag upland bird hunts take place from our SE Montana camp or central Montana camp. Upland bird hunting here can result in a multi species game bag as pheasant (on the upward cycle), sharp-tail grouse (on the upward cylce) and Hungarian partridge (very good populations) all reside here. We hunt these birds September through December. We offer a very limited amount of these exciting hunts and you may bring your favorite dog or we can provide one for you. Conditions at this time of the year can be perfect for this type hunt. 2x1 ($2750. each) or 1x1 ($3250.) for a 3 day hunt.

Ekalaka Camp
Our Ekalaka Camp consists of two main lodges, these camps sit in the beautiful butte filled country of SE Montana, here you will hunt the brush filled creek bottoms, agriculture fields, timbered ravines, sage brush flats and flat top buttes searching for your target. The Ekalaka Lodges sit in the center of all the various leased ranches for easy hunting access and are very comfortable after a great day in the field. All meals are included in the hunt packages as well as all bedding, linens and towels which are provided for you. Because most of our hunting areas are accessible by vehicle, we are able to maximize your hunting time in the field yet still provide you with a lot of the comforts of home. Our cooks prepare hearty, healthy breakfasts and suppers which are served family style in the dining room with lunches typically eaten in the field.
