About this hunt

Spring is a fantastic time to hunt Beceite Ibex in the mountains of Aragón. With the rut behind them, mature billies gather in bachelor herds, giving us excellent opportunities to glass and select the right animal before planning our stalk. Spring Beceite Ibex hunts can also be combined with Roe Deer hunting in the exact same hunting grounds. Aragon is famous for many record book Roe Deer. Our hunts take place across 120,000 hectares of spectacular free-range mountain country, ranging from steep limestone cliffs to rolling hills and abandoned agricultural terraces. This package includes a representative male Beceite Ibex, with the option to upgrade to a larger trophy-class billy. Each hunt is tailored to the hunter's abilities and expectations, with experienced guides who know these mountains intimately. Our days begin early, glassing for bachelor herds before planning a careful spot-and-stalk approach. After a rewarding day in the mountains, we return to one of our beautiful boutique hotels to enjoy exceptional local cuisine, famous black truffles, and excellent Spanish wines. For us, the experience is about far more than the trophy.

Territory

Our hunting territory is located in the beautiful and rugged mountains of Teruel, covering approximately 120,000 hectares of exceptional hunting country. The landscape ranges from towering limestone cliffs and rocky mountainsides to rolling hills, dense Mediterranean forests, and agricultural valleys. One of the most fascinating aspects of this region is how nature has reclaimed much of the land once occupied by farming communities. Abandoned farmland, ancient stone terraces, and forgotten villages have slowly been taken over by vegetation and wildlife. Today, healthy populations of Beceite Ibex, Roe Deer, and Wild Boar thrive throughout the area, offering excellent trophy quality. The combination of vast mountain ranges, thick forests, and more accessible valleys provides a fantastic variety of hunting terrain. With its rich history, abundant wildlife, and spectacular scenery, this is a truly special part of Spain to hunt. Add more hunting-specific detailMake the tone more natural

Where you will stay

Aragon Ibex Hotels

One of the great pleasures of hunting in Aragón is discovering the incredible hospitality, rich history, and exceptional cuisine of this beautiful region. Depending on where we are hunting, we stay in a selection of world-class boutique hotels and beautifully restored historic properties, each chosen for its character, comfort, and authentic Spanish charm. Many of these hidden treasures are tucked away in centuries-old villages surrounded by medieval architecture and landscapes steeped in history. The local cuisine is an experience in itself. Aragón is famous for its black truffles, which feature in everything from traditional dishes to exceptional fine dining. Combined with locally sourced meats, excellent Spanish wines, and generations of culinary tradition, the food is often as memorable as the hunting. For us, these hotels are much more than somewhere to sleep. They are an essential part of experiencing the true culture and hospitality of rural Spain.
