It is a wide and open area (more than 3.000 hectares) located in the north of Palencia province (Spain), close to Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre Natural Park. It combines open areas without trees with oak forests over hills and terraced areas. The difficulty to stalk is low-medium.

Hotel

This elegant hotel is set in a restored 12th century monastery. It offers a pretty courtyard, gardens and free internet connection. The heated rooms at El Convento feature elegant décor. All feature a TV and private bathroom. Super rooms offer a rain-effect shower and a unique sound and lighting system. The hotel serves a continental breakfast daily and its gourmet restaurant offers traditional, regional dishes made with local produce. The Bar provides the perfect setting to relax and enjoy local wines. Tourist information can be provided and the hotel provides a good base for hiking and cycling and exploring the surrounding towns and villages. Aguilar de Campóo, its Reservoir and the Cildá Mountain are 4.3 mi away. The hotel offers free parking and is around 1 hours’ drive from Burgos, Santander and Palencia.

The client will fly to Madrid airport (MAD) where you will be picked up by the outfitter and driven to base camp (3 and a half hours). All travels during the hunt are by car. If the client requires to be picked up in another airport we could manage other possibilities.
