For the 2026 season I have two(2) Spotted Hyena Permits available again and I'm pleased to offer this hunt. I had a successful season in terms of Hyena's with a 100% success rate.
The hunt will take place in the Lowveld Area of South Africa near the Kruger National Park and the area have a very healthy population of Spotted Hyena, one of the most sought after night time trophies! This hunt focus mainly on a Spotted Hyena as the primary trophy and is ideal for a collector that wants to tick it of his list.

The Lowveld region surrounding the Kruger National Park is one of the top hunting destinations in South Africa today. Known as the Jewel of Private Game Reserves, home to the Kruger National Park and one of the best Big Game hunting destinations in South Africa it has a rich history in terms of hunting. The Lowveld is considered as one of the finest areas for Dangerous Game hunting and a prime area for Spotted Hyena! We conduct Dangerous Game Hunts in and around the Private Game Reserves(APNR) and offer some of the best Big Game hunts the South African Lowveld has!
Our Lowveld hunting area comprises of just over 12 000 Acres and shares borders with the Timbavati Game Reserve. Mainly a Big Game destination, the Lowveld offer some fantastic Plains Game hunting to add to your Big Game or Spotted Hyena hunt. Pursuing sustainable herds of Buffalo and with the strict management, the opportunity to take an old Dugga Boy on your Safari is guaranteed!

Lowveld Camp
Situated in the African Lowveld Area of South Africa, here you can enjoy the South African hospitality while relaxing in the most comfortable surroundings.
Our beautiful Lowveld Camp is fully equipped and can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time although we only take 1 group at a time in camp. The camp has private chalets with thatched roofs and decorated in classic African decor, giving you a real African taste. All chalet are of the same standard with its own en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, clothing rack, bedside tables, and bathroom toiletries. Daily laundry service, attentive camp staff, first class sleeping arrangements and beautiful vistas makes it easy to recuperate from a long day in the bush.
Relaxing after a hard day’s hunt under the stars around a traditional bushveld fire with friends and family with one of our world famous South African wines is the perfect way to enjoy a South African evening.

- CANCELLATION: A 50% refund of the Deposit will be made if cancelled within more than thirty (30) days of the beginning of the Safari. No refund of deposits will be made if cancelled within thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the Safari. the Safari can be moved to the following year at the rate applicable to that year. In the unlikely event where MHS cancels the Safari a full refund of the Deposit will be made. No refund for early departures.
- POSTPONEMENT: The Safari can be moved to the following year at the rate applicable to that year, any deposit paid will be transferred to the rescheduled dates.
