8 day - Late Season Shiras Moose Combo Hunt - Our area has a very healthy Shiras Moose population, with bulls averaging in the 30-40” range, with some of our biggest bulls going over 50”. Moose are a cornerstone species on our area and found throughout the area. Shiras moose are a very closely monitored and managed animal in southern BC due to its limited range and value as a sub-species. We operate our Shiras moose tags under a quota system, and we have limited availability for this coveted species. All tags are provided by the outfitter and no draw is required. -hunt consists of using truck/atv/tracked ATVs and some hiking to access the area. Tactics including glassing, salt/mineral baiting, using snow to find sign. Moose are found feeding morning/evening, usually in logging blocks, to put fat back on post-rut. -1on 1 guided with Extra assistant-guide/track-finder out hunting cats(tracks) for add-on trophies on this hunt. This hunt is aimed at hunters who wish to combo cats. -Other track finders or houndsman will be out looking for cat tracks while you are moose hunting with your guide. If a desired track is found, we can let the hounds go, and resume moose hunting that evening or the following morning. -add-on species available on trophy fee are - Cougar, Lynx, Bobcat, WT Deer, Wolf
