Locally owned by Darryl and Joyce from the Kootenay area, we are committed to using the best practices regarding fair chase and hunting ethics. We support wildlife conservation efforts through the Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia.
Our guiding team is devoted to providing the hunter a safe, fair chase hunt with a reasonable opportunity to harvest a mature animal typical of the Kooteney area.

Darryl and Joyce made us feel like we were part of the family. We prepared this hunt well in advance and communications has always been fluid and helpful. Super friendly and caring people, top notch accommodation and excellent food. We have harvested an elk on the 5th day of our 7 day hunt. We saw elks on the first 2 days of the hunt with no legal bulls but Stuart, our very experienced guide, focused on a high probability area that paid off on day 5. We were very well prepared for the challenging country (physically, mentally and equipment wise) which played and significant role in our overall experience. It has been a wonderful experience that left us with long lasting memories and friends.

I took my son for his 8th grade graduation trip. He wanted to go bear hunting. We felt very well taken care of. The cabin and beds were comfortable, the food was amazing, nice, warm showers, beautiful scenery. We felt like we were part of the family. We saw a lot of bears and I think he would have been able to get at least one bear doing spot and stalk method if he was more experienced. He was able to shoot two bears, both using the hound dogs.
That it came to an end.

Got a nice cinnamon black bear 5foot, 6inches.

Hardest hunt of my life. The mountain s are steep and high. Not for the faint of heart

The are good people I liked, them all. We saw 65 goats. 5 good billys. Just not were i could climb up to git one. I saw 2 sheep. 15 elk, 2 bulls but none . big enough. 20 whitetail does 1 buck. He was too small.3 nice bull moose. And a cow. No tag and wrong season , 3 mule deer doe. there is game here just not what i was looking for., the Guides were great., Darryl saved my life on the mountain. He pulled me up. He is a Good man. His Son Cody is also A good man and a excellent Guide.
The mountain s there are steep. And high and very ruff. This was the most physically hunt i was ever on. This is mountaineer stuff. And in some places dangerous. I was not fully pepaired for a hunt like this. Also my Goat tag was not good for 48 hours after they got it for me. We watched a good billy for 3 days.That was Low enough for me to make an attempt on From the time i arrived he was in a good place, but buy the time we could hunt him he move and out my reach.we saw goats one mt drainage over. We climbed up and they were all Nanny s and kids. After that i was out of strenth, and gas i hurt to much to make another climb like that. Such is Goat hunting. There are no easy ones.! I guess i am too old and out of sape for a hunt like this.

Great people and great guides. Saw goats pretty much every time we stopped to spot. Being able to stay in a cabin for a goat hunt with great food is an obvious plus as well. Confident if you’re able to do the hiking required, they’ll get you a Billy.
