Based on the North Islands lush Pacific Coast, we are a small family business passionate about providing the Red Stag trophy hunting adventure of a life time!
We offer an exclusive, personalized New Zealand experience. From our comfortable North Island lodge hunters can stalk giant Red Stag, Fallow, Elk, Sika, Rusa, Sambar, Boar, Ram and Goat.
We have over 20,000 acres of privately managed hunting areas with Pacific Ocean frontage offering some great deep sea fishing.
A spectacular 2.5 hour scenic charter flight to our 300,000 acre concession in the South Island's mighty Southern Alps and you will experience the world's best alpine hunting for Tahr and Chamois.
We offer free local sight-seeing and day trips for non-hunters along with post hunt touring so your whole family can have the trip of a lifetime. We strive to provide a seamless, professional experience with family style hospitality making new friends and definitely having a lot of fun along the way!

Having been a hunting and fishing lodge owner for 25 yrs, I was very happy with all aspects of the hunt. Great country, lots of game, and extremely knowledgeable guides. Hunted with crossbow.

Hunt of a Lifetime!

What did we like? Everything!! Long before our (my wife and I) trip to New Zealand Brent made sure that we had all the detailed travel information that we would need for planning. We had many additional questions that were specific to us and Brent not only answered each question clearly via email but also FaceTimed with us.
From the moment we arrived at the Masterton train station, we felt extremely welcome as our hunting guide picked us up and chatted with us as he drove us to the location of our accommodations. They showed us our private sleeping “cabin”, the house where we met up for the most delicious meals ever, and the lodge where we often hung out after hunts to visit and enjoy snacks and beverages. Huge shout out to Sarah and Tash who cooked all our fabulous meals and also helped us out with anything else we needed while we were there
The hunting? We could not have imagined a better experience!! Jesse was our personal hunting guide and he went to great lengths to help us find exactly the sizes, colors, and species of the animals we were seeking to harvest. He went above and beyond in every way, even taking us out for sight seeing at the beach/lighthouse and to town one afternoon to pick up an extra cooler bag to bring more meat home with us.
If you are looking for a high quality hunt in a friendly environment with amazing people, this is an excellent choice for you!!

They completely exceeded every expectation that we had. Truly one of the most amazing hunts we have been on. From the quality of the animals, to the physical hunts themselves, to the generosity and hospitality of everyone there. Taking a trophy of a lifetime at the top of a mountain in New Zealand with your son, words can not describe it. We have already started planning our 2nd visit to hunt the south and north islands with Brent and team. Can't wait to come back!!! Thank you Brent, Wendy, Adrian and Josh you are the BEST!!!

Mntn Hunters Outfitters had a large amount of good quality animals to choose from.
Josh, our guide, was informative, diligent in finding the right game when they were elusive and an all-around good guy.
The Moody's were gracious hosts that kept us well fed with delicious food and entertainment. Wendy was a wealth of information about the area and was the guide to various sites.
Cyclone Cook hampered the activities a little.
