The Red Stag rut takes place from mid-March to late April, the ideal time to pursue this magnificent trophy. Hunting is conducted on over 10,000 acres of free-range ranchland. The program includes 4 full hunting days and 5 nights at the lodge. Red Stag hunting consists of two outings per day: early morning until midday (lunch and siesta break), and mid-afternoon until dusk. Hunting is done by stalking or from strategic stand locations. A professional guide accompanies each hunter on a 1x1 basis, assisting in selecting the best trophy. Average shooting distance ranges between 150–200 yards.
