FULL PACKAGE (Croatia - Velebit South) • 2 days hunting for one representative Class 1 chamois; Game Fee reduction on ± age class or CIC measurement, see Game Fee rates. • 3 nights hotel accommodation and all transfers. * The hunting package price is subject to the itinerary outset (i.e. if no airport transfer is required), game fees for further quarry species, number of hunters, and the hotel / lodge accommodation occupancy and number of guests! Balkan chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra balcanica) - larger and possibly a sub-species of the Alpine Chamois, it's coat is slightly browner than it's Alpine cousin - we hunt in the Biokovo Mountains, overlooking the Dalmatian Coast, Croatia. The Chamois are the ballet dancers of the mountain cliff edges, passing up mountain slopes that look inaccessible, leaping from ledge to precipice, balancing on the tiniest of ridges - living their lives in alpine and sub-alpine meadows habitats above the timberline, wintering on steep slopes or flatter forested terrain where snow does not accumulate.

Velebit (Mid - Jablanac) Velebit is the largest, though not the highest, mountain range in Croatia, located along the Adriatic Sea coast, between Senj and the source of the Zrmanja river northwest of Knin. It rises steeply above the sea and above the continental side. Ridge above the sea is from 700–1700m high, but straight distance from the sea is only ~2km on some places! • Velebit is karst mountain made of limestone. Its profile is very characteristic, seaside foothills are evergreen terraces of pine, vineyards, olive trees and other Mediterranean vegetation cultures.
