Rut season package (March to April 15): 1 free range Red Stag, no size limit: $6,300 Price includes: 4 hunting days/5 nights, trophies fee, ground transfer to and from Santa Rosa Airport to Mapu Hunting Lodge, premium accommodation and facilities, all meals and beverages including house spirits, beer and Argentinian wines, WiFi internet, daily laundry, professional hunting guides (1-on-1), trackers, and trophy cleaning. Price April 15 to May: $5,650 (5 hunting days/6 nights) A typical hunting day: Red stag hunting happens twice a day. It starts before dawn after a delicious breakfast and ends around noon. After lunch, you may rest in the lodge for a couple of hours before departing for the afternoon hunt. You will return after sunset to share your stories of the day and enjoy a special dinner prepared by our in-house Chef. We promise an unmatched red stag hunting experience. The exceptional terrain and the high concentration of hinds attract stags from many miles beyond. During rutting season this results in intense and dramatic roaring. No doubt, it is the most unforgettable and exhilarating experience for a hunter. Along with the red stag, we offer a wide variety of Argentinian big game, including water buffalo, axis deer, multi-horned ram, blackbuck antelope, mouflon, fallow deer, and wild boar. Our hunting grounds are varied, consisting of La Pampa’s Calden woods and bushes; fire-breaks (picadas) and hills. Mapu offers different types of hunts. Most of our hunting is done using the spot and stalk method. Hunters will be driven to the different section by 4×4 vehicles and continue by foot.

During rutting season this results in intense and dramatic roaring. No doubt, it is the most unforgettable and exhilarating experience for a hunter. Along with the 21,000 acres of free range hunting, we have a 2,500 acres hunting preserve, stocked with a wide variety of Argentinian big game, including Water Buffalo, Axis Deer, Ram, Blackbuck, Fallow deer, Wild Boar and Gold Medal Red Stags.

Excellent Outfitter
This father and daughter team is running a first class operations. The food an accommodations were beyond expectations and the hunting was even better. If your looking for a great hunt in Argentina look no further. I took a great stag and axis deer with the bow.
Nothing negative about this hunt at all!

Celeste and her entire staff were extremely accommodating. My guide, Mario, was a real pro at finding Red Stag! Great meals.
We toured Argentina for 3 weeks after the hunt & left our firearms there during our travels. On return Celeste was gracious enough to invite us for another fine dinner. Saw about 10 shootable stags before taking a shot. Make sure you practice your Spanish.
No reflection on Mapu, but the country is not like US with firearms. We went through several check points on our travels and were glad we didn't have any with us. Taking firearms into the country is a real hassle. As I was told it would be.
