Об охоте в Альберте
Провинция Альберта, в Западной Канаде, является одним из главных охотничьих регионов Северной Америки. The camp atmosphere was similar to a Wisconsin hunting camp, which was nice. The guides tried to stay positive for the most part, even though the group didn’t see many moose.
Not what I was exactly expecting. Was hoping to see more wildlife, and the occasional moose. I wish our guide would have been more aggressive a few days towards the end of the hunt. We spent 9 of the 10 days trying to call them out of where they thought the moose were. We got more aggressive on the last day and ended up seeing 1 moose during the last hour of a 10 day hunt, unfortunately I did not get a shot. 2 out of the 4 hunters didn’t even see a moose until the 7th day. Also, I would not recommend buying the extra whitetail tag…I only saw 1 whitetail buck in 10 days and no one else in our camp killed one. I was hoping for more, but ultimately left unsatisfied. It’s a big gamble on maybe a 10 second window at 1 moose.

Thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, food, and evening discussions. The guides knew the area very well and absolutely amazed at the instincts as to where the moose were. Both guides were positive and encouraging on the days hunting was tough, but the commitment from the guides was always up-beat and positive. The care for the game during retrieval, cleaning, and transportation was of high priority, which was greatly appreciated. Guidance was provided for preparation for crossing the Canadian boarder and what to expect. Definitely a place I'd go back to!!
I cannot think of anything that was missing during this hunt! For myself and my buddy our expectations were exceeded and fulfilled.

Black bear hunt of a lifetime.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my hunt and the whole experience with Northern Element Outfitters. Kody was easy to communicate with, his description of the hunt, game, and all aspects was accurate and professional. Kody has a tremendous amount of hunting and guiding knowledge and is quick to share it with his clients and ensure they are successful. Kody knows bears and their behavior if you want a chance at a true giant of the North give Kody a call and he will make sure you have an exceptional hunt. I was fortunate to not only harvest one bear of a lifetime but two. The largest squared in at 7’3” with a 20 1/8” skull, and the second squared 7’ with a 18 5/8” skull. Three hunters in camp and we all had success on bears squaring 7’ or greater. Both bears I harvested had exceptional quality hides, and Kody did a fantastic job skinning, caping, and preparing the hides.
You may come to Northern Elements Outfitters as a client, but you will leave feeling like family with good friends and tales to last a lifetime.
I have traveled all over the world and I can not recommend Kody and Northern Elements Outfitting enough. If you want to hunt black bears look no further!!!

Successful Wolf Hunt

It was Corbett Creeks 1st year doing wolf hunts. Richard listened to ways making the hunts better going forward. Example were the heaters for blinds. The time I spent in Alberta it was sometimes -25 F. Never got above zero. The bigger buddy heaters Richard got the second day kept the insulated blind comfortably warm for 12 hour sits in -20 F weather. R
Corbett creek in my opinion will only get better. Wolf hunting is one of the most elusive of all game animals to harvest. I was successful on a very large Canadian Wolf. Richards family are wonderful people and treated their hunters like family.

Everything was great from beginning to end. Lowell is a great guy and a great host and a super hunter/guide. He has all the facilities that you need for a comfortable stay and for taking care of your game when you are successful. He has thousands of acres and knows the property like the back of his hand. Game cameras everywhere ensure that you will be hunting in the best spots. Calling in a bull elk and being face to face at 50 yards was truly an experience of a lifetime. Lowell takes pride in what he does and works very hard to ensure that you have a great experience from beginning to end. His chef made some incredible meals and deserts. His family was warm and fun to hang with. I came as a client and left as a friend
Absolutely nothing.
I would go again tomorrow!
