Bordering the Nyerere National Park, our hunting area is situated in one of Tanzania’s prime hunting locations.
Through The Wild Ltd is a professionally operated Tanzanian safari company, working in carefully selected wilderness territories that offer genuine, African hunting.
Our focus is on delivering successful, well planned safaris that go beyond the hunt itself. A safari with us is shaped not only by the animals pursued, but by the people, the environment, and the rhythm of the African bush.
Days begin with the first light breaking over the savannah and end beside the campfire under a sky filled with stars. The sounds of the wilderness birds at dawn, distant buffalo, lions calling through the night become part of the experience. Time in camp is shared with knowledgeable professional hunters, trackers, and staff whose lives are rooted in the land and its traditions.
We believe a great safari is created through teamwork, trust, and respect for nature. From the planning stages to the final day in the field, every detail is handled with care to ensure a safe, ethical, and rewarding experience for our clients.

5 Day Tanzania Plains Game Safari (1×1) This 5-day plains game safari is offered on a one-on-one basis (1×1), with one hunter accompanied by one licensed Professional Hunter. The safari is designed for hunters who want a focused, efficient plains game hunt in genuine free-range Tanzanian wilderness. Accommodation is provided in a comfortable tented safari camp with proper beds, hot showers, and experienced camp staff. Meals are prepared daily, and evenings are spent relaxing in camp after full days in the field. This safari is well suited for first-time African hunters, hunters with limited time, or those looking to combine plains game with other activities or species.

1. International Arrival in Dar es Salaam Clients first fly into Dar es Salaam International Airport (DAR) from their home country. 2. Local Flight From Dar es Salaam to Songea From Dar, you will take a domestic flight to Songea Airport. Upon arrival in Songea, our Through The Wild Ltd transfer vehicle will be waiting at the airport. 3. Road Transfer to Camp From Songea Airport, it is approximately: • 200 km distance • Around 4 hours of driving Our team provides a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle and handles all luggage and travel coordination. The route offers a beautiful introduction to the landscapes surrounding our concession. 4. Private Charter Option (Fastest & Most Direct)
