White-tailled and roedeer bowhunting

You will be hunting mainly in the evenings as then the whitetail deer are most active, also morning outing are possible. The time of the outings depends on the season, weather/light conditions and moon cycle. During daytime we can do scouting and planning for the next outing, setting up blinds or target practice. There are some permanent and movable high seats on the game fields and passing places or you can use your own tree stands or ground blinds. Specially early season we recommend using your own saddle setup as being able to move hunting location will help you a lot. For hunting we recommend the early season start of September as then the weather is mild. At that time some of the bucks can still be in velvet. Other good time is the pre rut/rut early November when the weather normally is still reasonably good, although frost or even snow is possible. The population of whitetail deer and roe deer is high in the areas we will use and as in most parts of this hunting area we only hunt with a bow the deer are not very jumpy. Saying that, as all animals are totally wild and free range, nothing can be guaranteed and most of the success will be depending on the skills of the hunter.
