Our company was established in 2003 and operates in 1 territory.
- Established in 2003, our company stands as a pioneer in its field, operating within a unique territory. Since inception, we have dedicated our lives and passions to promoting hunting in our country.
- As a family of hunters, fishermen, nature enthusiasts, and globetrotters, we have cultivated a tradition where adventure and discovery are shared experiences within our family. I serve as the director and founder of the oldest specialized hunting company in our country, and I am also the first guide specialized in Rusa deer hunting in Mauritius.
- Beyond our on-field activities, I also contribute as a reporter for five specialized magazines and a videographer for the largest television channel in France. Over the years, I have had the privilege to host and guide over 1000 clients from 24 different nationalities. Each experience has been a learning opportunity, fueling my passion for hunting and the joy of sharing it with others.
- Lionel does not only guide in Mauritius but he has also guided in countries like Tanzania, Cameroon, Zambia for the big game.
- He is also a reporter and has appeared in several international tv shows for french channels, like Seasons, Zone 300, Le Chasseur Français.
- He is an avid bowhunter as well as a Rifle hunter.
Über diese Jagd
Rusa deer is a beautiful esthetic deer that was introduced from Java Island by the Dutch in 1639. Since that time the deer population exploded under the hunters regulation and nowadays they are plenty and with some of the biggest trophies available. They can weight 320, up to 400 pounds for the biggest one at the beginning of the season. The heaviest antlers my clients shot was close to 15.4 pounds (7 kilos) and the longest was 39 inches. The average is 33 inches with good mass and the hunt is only by walk and stalk.

Our 3 hunting estates totalize 14 500 Hectares privately owned area and they are all situated at less than 45 minutes from each other. One is a 8000 hectares, the second one is a 4500 hectares estate and the third one is a 2000 hectares estate. The biggest one is a more African style biotope with acacia thorn trees with huge open land moving up to splendid mountains.
The other two are more a primary sub tropical forests areas with thick endemic forests with water falls and rivers, green open land and hilly to mountains areas. All of them are fenced to preserve the environment from the animals grazing. It is illegal in Mauritius to leave the deer out of any fence and will be all shot to protect our last endemic forest that represents only 3 percent of the island.

If our guests want to stay in a 5 stars resorts we have more than 20 to recommend you close by the estate but we think to stay with us inside our family can be pleasant for our international clients and a win win relation rather than to leave you in your resort after a wonderful hunting moment. We recommend you to try for a 2 or 3 nights during your hunt and then to finish your stay by a 5 stars resort. We can also propose you our guest house as many days you need. Our house is facing a 150 degrees Ocean view. It is located in a small local village boundering the hunting estate. Our guest house is a 440 square meter villa with a master bed room measuring 55 square meter, a kids bed room measuring 35 square meters. We have a swimming pool measuring 10 by 4 meters, a sport center measuring 43 square meters, a massage room, a library, a video library, WiFi, kazebo area, satellite and Netflix to name only few of our amenities…
