Outfitter was honest and tried to give every opportunity to make hunt successful.
Lack of game , only seen one moose in six days.

Thankfully I tagged out the first day on a nice moose. The outfitter was prepared. There was plenty of food, didn't go away hungry.
I was a solo hunter and wanted my own tent. They had one for me and it had everything I needed including a wood stove and cot
I asked a lot of questions prior to the hunt. But some of the details I needed were not accurate for planning hotel stops and arrival times. Also, I didn't like the confusion about what butcher to take the moose to when I was told they had butchers lined up. This was a new area for them to guide out of, so I guess they had to find new butchers.

I am so very happy with this hunt. I had never done a guided hunt before and never hunted moose but this was spectacular. I just had an amazing time Ryan was awesome Erik and his wife were the best. The country was beautiful if not a little eerie in it's snow covered desolation. Hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life!

November Canadian moose and mule deer

We would glass from high vantage points into logging roads and clear cuts trying to spot a buck or bull. Once we spotted our animal we would then go on our stalk. At the end of the day you were fed a great warm dinner at a local restaurant and got to sleep in a nice warm hotel to be rested up for the next day of chilly hunting. I was fortunate enough to take a 38 inch bull on a post rut hunt. And a mule deer buck. Erik is a great guide and look forward to more hunting adventures with him in the future!
Everything was great for my first moose hunt I couldn’t have asked for anything better!
