The great adventure

Stags were roaring all around us. I saw multiple red stags every day. The shots opportunities were generally not close. Expect to shoot around 200 meters but that is expected in big country. The food was great, the accommodations were wonderful. The lodge borders a river with beautiful views around every corner. The family and staff was the best part about the ranch. Everyone at Poncho Patagonia made you feel at home. They genuinely care about your time with them on the ranch. I don’t think I could have picked a better group of people to be around while hunting in the mountains.

Lo naturaleza agreste volcada en la experiencia de caza. Un lugar donde no encontraras ciervos por todos lados para dispararles. Sino que por el contrario , la caza es totalmente deportiva en la dificultad del acercamiento y demás experiencias vividas , en un entorno salvaje y con excelentes guias conocedores de la zona

The hunts (there were several) offers free, open, natural mountain game. Yoy have to work if you want a quality trophy, that for me are mature and sage, I don't care for points or number of spikes, what I treasure is the hunt, and there is the uniqueness of this hunt. No guarantees!!
I collected three old and heavy racks from mature stags that took me days following and glassing them. As this was exactly what I was looking for, there are no complaints.

According to the hosts, I was the first hunter from Europe on their farm. I fully recommend hunting in this beautiful part of the world to everyone. The whole family treated us like family from the beginning. We felt at home here. Great food, great hospitality. Challenging hunting, lots of walking, but I like that. You have to outwit the animal, it has a better chance than you and I like that. It's not an easy hunt, but if you manage to outwit the deer, it's a great experience. Manu was a professional guide who did everything for a successful hunt. I recommend it to everyone who loves hunting in the mountains in beautiful virgin nature. I still want to go back

I had the once in a life time opportunity to hunt with my familiy not with guides, but with friends. Manu and his brothers are the best hunters I experienced in several countries hunting red stags. Their patience, their eyes like eagles, were the base to see a lot of great and old red stags. Supported by the lovely family of Camila we had such a great time. And once in a lifetime will become a second time in two years. Then I will be back again in the canyon of emotions. Waidmannsheil from Germany.

The family experience with the greatest Argentina food and wine. A hunting experience similar to our western elk hunting and hunting during the roar made it even better.
