Croatian Mouflons have attracted special attention of European hunters. Hunting grounds that offer mouflons can practically guarantee trophy specimens in desired medals, of course at the end it all depends on hunter skills. Rocky landscape with dense macchias and hidden grazing grounds represents an ideal habitat for these animals. Mouflon hunting on Mediterranean-type hunting grounds lasts throughout the entire day with active search for desired mouflon (hunter-quest and expert escort). Mouflon has excellent sight and hearing so it is difficult to approach them on rocky terrains. Average shouting distance is therefore 150-300 meters. The best time for mouflon hunting is from the end of September to the start of December. The package includes 4 nights stay and 3 hunting days, trophies are payable on harvest according to their CIC points.

Great affordable hunt.
Vlatka took a great amount of time organizing trip details from A to Z. Enjoyed the UNESCO world heritage sight of Trigor. With a wonderful stay at Hotel Tragos. Makarska was beautiful with the sea to the incredible mountains. Really strong amount of chamois on mountain to chose from. Mr. Pero was an outstanding guide that has hunted this mountain range for 20 years! Would recommend this hunt to anyone looking for a Balkan Chamois.

Beautiful country and great hunt!
The country and people of Croatia were so nice and accommodating. They work hard to please their customers. The hunt was difficult but a real hunt and authentic.
This hunt was very physically demanding and I was prepared but a lot of hunters might get caught off guard and not be able to hunt due to the difficult climbing and amount of miles of walking required for this hunt.
Amazing country, great hunting.
Steep hard hikes, saw a bunch of game. Pero the guide knows the area very well. Be prepared for a hard hunt for mouflon in the Biokovo mountains. The Chamois area I hunted was slightly easier but still definitely a mountain hunt. All in all IMO one of the best hunts for the money. Vlatka was great to deal with and everything very organized as far as drivers, etc. all in all very satisfied and would definitely recommend if considering this as a future hunt.
