We believe a great hunt is about far more than the trophy. As a family-run outfitter, we personally guide our clients through some of Spain’s finest hunting territories, combining generations of hunting experience with exceptional hospitality. From challenging mountain stalks to our private hunting estate in Andalucía, every trip is tailored to the individual hunter. Hunting free-range Southeastern Ibex in the Sierra Nevada and Almería during spring is a fantastic mountain hunting experience. At this time of year, the billies are generally found in bachelor groups, giving us the opportunity to glass several males together and carefully select the right trophy.
The terrain is wild and rugged, with steep rocky slopes, deep valleys and vast mountain ranges. We spend our mornings glassing from high vantage points, searching for mature billies before planning our approach. Once we find the right animal, the real work begins. Stalks can involve several hours of walking, steep climbs and negotiating loose, rocky ground to get into a good shooting position.
Our local guides know these mountains extremely well, and we adapt each hunt to the hunter's fitness and abilities. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, but the effort is well worth it for the chance to take a beautiful old ibex in its natural environment.

Territory
The Sierra Nevada mountain range in southern Spain offers some of the most spectacular Southeastern Ibex hunting territory in the country. Rising from the Mediterranean foothills to peaks exceeding 3,000 metres, this vast mountain landscape is characterised by steep rocky slopes, deep valleys, open ridgelines and rugged limestone outcrops.
The terrain provides excellent glassing opportunities and a variety of hunting conditions, from accessible lower slopes to challenging high-altitude stalks. The region supports a healthy population of Southeastern Ibex, with good trophy quality and the opportunity to encounter exceptional mature males.
The combination of dramatic mountain scenery, extensive free-range hunting grounds and varied terrain makes the Sierra Nevada a truly remarkable destination for Spanish Ibex hunting.

One of the highlights of hunting in southern Spain is undoubtedly the food. Andalusia is famous for its rich culinary traditions, where exceptional local produce, Iberian ham, slow-cooked meats, fresh seafood, excellent olive oils and regional wines take centre stage.
After a long day in the mountains, there is nothing quite like sitting down to a memorable meal, enjoying a good bottle of Spanish wine and sharing stories from the day's hunt. We believe the accommodation, food and local culture are just as much a part of the experience as the hunt itself.
