Fall Black Bear Hunting

We hunt in a territory that has experienced extremely low hunting pressure for the past 10 years. The Black Bear have been virtually free to roam the territory without risk of being shot. That means we have a strong population of healthy trophy Black Bear waiting for you. Located on the forest fringe, we hunt a mix of farmland-edge sites as well as some locations in deeper bush. This provides the bears a number of available food sources and protection from harsh weather when needed for a strong and healthy bear population. Thanks to our pre-season scouting efforts, we have been able to determine the best potential locations for our blinds and bait stands. We seek out the trails and corridors where the Black Bear most often travel, always on the lookout for the boars eager to follow the sows to the bait sites. We position our hunters in the tree stands with the most active stands ensuring the highest probability of shooting a trophy animal. When requested by the hunter, we will position the hunter in a ground blind. We will have 8 to 10 bait sites actively being maintained throughout the season. We take a maximum of 4 bear hunters per group in camp. We make extensive use of trail cams, reviewing images from our 15 Tactacams on a daily basis. For our fall Black Bear season, we have 6 Black Bear tags. We operate with 1 or 2 hunters per guide. We take a max of 5 hunters per group.
