Family owned and operated, we specialize in mountain hunting for high quality big game in a beautiful wilderness setting. Home to North America’s largest and healthiest herd of California Bighorn Sheep, we have run 100% success on our bighorn hunts since 2017. Harvesting conservatively and taking only minimal hunters each season, we aim to target only mature animals of each species, ensuring a sustainable harvest for years to come and the highest quality trophy class game for every hunter who comes with us. This area has excellent populations of Mountain Mule Deer, Canadian Moose, Black Bear, and all three cat species including Cougar, Lynx, and Bobcat. High trophy potential exists on all species in the area.

Mule deer rut hunts start in late October and run through to the end of November when bucks can be found chasing does that have migrated to their lower elevation winter ranges. Our mule deer populations are excellent and hunters can realistically expect to harvest dark heavy horned bucks in the 150”-170” inch class consistently, though using our various options of hunt styles can bring forth true trophy class bucks in the 170”-190” range as well. We have many mule deer hunting options available. Whether you want to backpack style hunt for early September bachelor groups in the high alpine on your own two feet, or use our 4×4 ATV’s or vehicles to access some wider ranging areas, we are here to suit your needs. Hunting from our main basecamp lodge is also an option, and this will be a mix of 4×4 vehicle and ATV use from the comfort of our main camp.

Our area is in the Rain Shadow of the Coast Mountains. From sage brush flats, to thick conifer forest, to towering glacial peaks, our area has it all. The mighty Fraser River runs on our Western boundary, and is a sight to behold in itself. Game densities are concentrated along the lower flats making accessibility quite good in general.

Camp

In 2021 we suffered a setback and had our old camp burn down in a wildfire. Since then, we have been working diligently every chance we get at building up a new basecamp in a beautiful new location. Our basecamp is comfortably able to accommodate up to 6 hunters at a time. Floors and half walls are insulated, all tents have lighting and power to charge phones, and the main cook tent has a comfortable dining and sitting area, complete with kitchen and attached shower room. Wifi is readily available as long as our generator is running. All tents have wood stoves as well as propane heaters as backup, and real memory foam mattresses. None of those cheap foamies typical in hunting camps. We have an additional insulated cabin that sleeps 2 with its own shower and heat source, and a separate trapping cabin situated 100kms to the north as well.

Clients may fly into Kelowna, British Columbia for pickup. Or, if they desire to save money on the connecting flight to Kelowna and would like the freedom to drive themselves and leave as they wish after a successful hunt, they may rent a 4x4 vehicle in Vancouver and drive the Sea to Sky Highway themselves.

All deposits are non-refundable. All hunters will sign contracts and liability waivers prior to hunt start. If a hunter must cancel for an unforeseen reason, the Outfitter will do his best to defer the hunt to a later date, or, the hunter may find a suitable replacement hunter to take his/her place the same dates and pay the remaining hunt balance owing. All hunts must be paid in US funds. All hunts booked are subject to the Canadian Government Goods & Services Tax.

If an animal is wounded, we will do our best to search diligently for that animal for up to 2 days time. If it is deemed fatal and the animal cannot be found, the tag may be cut. If it is determined to be a glancing shot and the animal will survive, after searching a determined amount of time, the hunt may continue at the Outfitters discretion.

For British Columbia hunts, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to hold dates. The remaining 50% balance owed is due March 1st for all Spring hunts, June 1st for all Fall hunts, and October 1st for all Winter hunts. Tags and licenses are incorporated into the full hunt cost and paid at the same time unless additional tags are requested at a later date. (Personal checks are accepted for hunt payments). All Government Royalties and Trophy Fee’s (where applicable) must be paid with cash, Traveler’s Checks, or Certified Checks. No exceptions. A 5% GST tax will be charged on Trophy Fees. A hunt date is considered booked and confirmed only after the initial deposit is received. Should two deposits arrive for the same hunt date, the first deposit received will take priority.
