Rocky Mountain Goat Hunt '26

Mountain Goat Hunt in the spectacular Rockies in SE British Columbia. This hunt takes place at the beginning of November, during the rut, so the billies are haired up quite nicely. Billies are a good representative of the species with our hunter last year taking a 9.75” Billy. We can drive fairly high via SXS, which keeps the hiking to a minimum, although it is still a mountain hunt! A hunter that is fit and capable of hiking steep terrain and managing colder temperatures is a must. We return to main camp every night. Accommodation is in a rustic camp with hearty meals. The hunter has their own private cabin and will be the only hunter in camp. The need to spike out may occur, although unlikely. This hunt is a full 7 day hunt with the client flying into Cranbrook, BC. Camp is approximately an hour from the airport into the backcountry. Hunter can expect to hike every day with periods of glassing. Hunting is spot and stalk. Temperatures can range from 5 - 32°F with snow.
