SOUTHEASTERN IBEX

The South East Ibex is located on the South-East mountains of Spain, Granada and Almería regions. Its horns grow backwards and are curving sideways until the last tip when they close. This hunt can be taken either with a rifle or a bow, although in any case a moderated-good shape is required to succeed on this hunt. Hunting season goes from October 15th to April 31st. Best months are November, December. All our hunts are run in free range areas. Before the hunting, it will be possible to test the rifle and after that we will drive in the mountais with 4x4 vehicles. First of all we will try to spot the animals and once we locate the right animal we will start the stalking by foot. Our target are always adult males with at least 8 years old. Average shooting distances are approximatelly 200-250 meters, after we succeed we will tag the animal and make the measurement of the trophy to get final scoring. This hunt is a unique experience for those hunters who love mountain hunts where very high physical level is not requiered.
