Kamchatka bear spring hunt is a traditional spring hunt. Once bears leave their dens and start looking for food high time of hunting starts. Hunting guides is driving a snow-mobile, the client occupy sled on the back. Together they examine the area looking for a suitable trophy. Once a bear is found last stalking is done by foot. But sometime it's even possible to shoot a bear from a sled. That's for sure on the most exciting hunts for big game.

Hunting area for Brown bear is a mixture of flat lands and mountains. It's a typical northern flat land so-called "tundra" with various vegetation, mid-hills and mountains itself. The variety of landscapes allow to hunt for bears in different ways in spring and fall.

Hunting camp
Accommodation is arranged in a hunting camp in wooden hunts. Guest can enjoy russian steam sauna every day. There is electricity and satellite TV in the camp.

You arrive to Kamchatka via Moscow or Seul. From Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky there is a domestic flight to Palana, flight takes 1,5 hours. In Palana you will be met by local outfitter who will take care of further transportation to the base camp and hunting itself. The way to the base camp is done by cars first (90 km) and then by snow-mobiles (10 km). In camp you will be met by gentle staff and professional cook.
